Subscription & Connection FAQs
Choose a category, then work through the checks. Start connection troubleshooting with your local network; manage orders, subscriptions, and refunds in your user dashboard. Open any question below to read the answer. Answers remain expandable even if JavaScript is disabled.
Accounts & subscriptions
Check which account you're signed in to, then get your current subscription. You don't need to repeat the setup process from scratch when changing devices or updating your subscription.
Do I need an email address to create an account? How should I protect my login details?
No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Save your login details in a trusted password manager, and avoid reusing passwords on other sites. Use your account to view plans, access your subscription, and submit support tickets. Creating an account does not activate a paid plan; check the plan status shown in your dashboard to confirm whether you can connect. Since no email address is required, don't assume email recovery will be available. If you can't log in, check your username, input method, capitalization, and the site saved in your password manager before changing client settings repeatedly.
How do I get, update, and re-import my subscription link?
Sign in to your user dashboard and find the subscription link in your account overview, then import it as directed by your client. To refresh your routes, open the subscription or configuration list in the client, find the VPNDeep profile, and update it. Once the update succeeds, select a route again. If the link in your dashboard has changed, copy the current link and replace the old one rather than refreshing an outdated profile. If importing fails, check that you copied the full link, that it contains no extra spaces, and that you used an import option that accepts subscription links. Your subscription link contains account access credentials. Don't share it in public groups or include it in public screenshots.
Do I need to buy again when I change devices? Can I connect multiple devices at once?
There is no device limit for simultaneous connections, and changing devices alone does not mean you need to buy again. Sign in to the same account on your new device, get your current subscription, import it into the appropriate client, and select a route. Unlimited devices does not mean each device has a separate data allowance; usage across devices follows the data rules of your selected plan. When you stop using an old device, sign out and delete any saved subscription configuration. If someone else has used the device, check how your account details and subscription link were stored before connecting on a new device.
Which platforms are supported? Do I need a plan to download the client?
Supported platforms: Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. Find the client and subscription options in your user dashboard; this page does not provide direct installer downloads. After signing in, you can download our client for Windows, Android, macOS, and Linux without purchasing a plan. The iOS download option shown in the dashboard depends on your active plan status. Downloading the client and getting a working connection are separate steps: after installation, sign in and check your subscription and plan status. If your system prompts you for permission during installation or import, confirm which client you're using before continuing with the guide.
Connections & troubleshooting
Tell apart local network issues, client settings, and problems with the service you're trying to reach. Change one thing at a time and keep track of what you tested.
It says connected, but websites won't load. What should I check first?
Disconnect the client first and check that your local network can open sites you normally access. If your local connection is having problems, fix that before troubleshooting the VPN. Then check your plan status and remaining data in the dashboard, update your subscription, and reconnect. A connected status usually means the client has started a connection; it doesn't confirm that a particular service is reachable. If no international websites load, try a route in another region and check the system's proxy permissions. If only one site fails, check its regional requirements, your account status, and the client's routing rules before considering a full system reinstall.
Why does my browser work, but a particular app won't use the proxy?
Different apps may use different network paths. Your browser working doesn't mean other apps will use the system proxy settings. Check the client's routing mode and make sure the rules aren't sending the app or domain directly. Then check whether your system allows the client to manage network traffic and whether another network tool has changed those settings. If the client offers a mode that routes traffic from more apps, enable it as instructed and try again; restore your usual settings when you're done testing. Don't override managed network settings on a work device. An app's sign-in or regional restrictions may also be unrelated to the proxy connection.
What should I do if a subscription update fails or no routes appear after import?
First, check the account and plan status in your dashboard, then copy the subscription link shown there again. Make sure you're using the client's subscription import option, not one that requires a local file. Don't use a page URL or sign-in URL as your subscription link. If an existing profile fails to update, keep it in place while you check the link and try again so you don't delete settings that still work. If your local network is working but you still can't retrieve the subscription, open a support ticket with the client name, platform, and error message. Before sharing a screenshot, hide your subscription link, password, and sensitive account details; the error text is enough.
How can I troubleshoot repeated disconnections or a connection that won't resume after sleep?
Check whether disconnections happen after switching networks, putting the system to sleep, or sending the app to the background. These issues may be related to power saving, background permissions, or network changes, so don't assume the route is at fault. Bring the app to the foreground and reconnect, then check whether your system restricts background activity. On desktop, check the network and system proxy status after waking from sleep. If the problem continues, update your subscription and try a different route under the same network conditions. When submitting a ticket, include what you were doing before the disconnect, the route region, and the client's error message to help distinguish a local permission issue from a route connection issue.
Speed & routes
Choose a use case and region first, then compare real-world performance. Route connectivity, platform sign-in, and content playback are separate things to check.
Slowdowns at peak hours: should I switch regions or routes?
Keep the target service the same and compare other routes in the same region first; then try a different region. This makes it easier to tell whether the slowdown is tied to a specific route or regional path. Pause large downloads before testing, and make sure your local Wi-Fi isn't experiencing interference. If only video is slow, check for frequent buffering or automatic quality drops, and see whether other sites work normally. If everything is slow, check your local network first. Performance can vary by region, route, and time of day; a closer region isn't always faster. Don't judge the viewing experience by a route name or the client's status icon alone.
Which regions are covered, and how should I choose a route?
VPNDeep covers 120+ countries and 220+ routes. The options available to you depend on your dashboard and current subscription. Choose a route based on what you need: for platforms with regional requirements, confirm the target region first; for everyday browsing and tools, compare how routes actually perform on your network. Popular regions such as the US, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Germany won't suit every use case, and no route is guaranteed to work all the time. When testing, keep the app, network, and content the same so you change only one variable. See the global locations page for full regional details; the routes available in your client and the target service's response are what matter in practice.
What should I do if Netflix or another platform reports a region or proxy error?
Check that the route's exit region matches the library you want to watch, then confirm that the platform offers the content in that region. Platforms may also consider your exit IP, account region, payment details, and app cache, so loading the home page doesn't guarantee that a particular title will play. Try closing the playback page, reconnecting through a route for the target region, and fully restarting the app. Clear the cache if the platform recommends it. Don't change payment details at random to switch libraries, and remember that a network service is not a streaming subscription. Platform detection and content licensing can change; check access directly for the latest results.
ChatGPT won't load. Will switching routes definitely fix it?
Not necessarily. Your connection, exit region, the AI platform's status, and your account permissions can all affect access. First check whether other international websites load to determine whether this is a connection issue or a problem with the specific tool. If the page loads but sign-in or features fail, check the platform's error message and confirm that your region and account meet its requirements. A network service can't replace a platform account or paid access. You can try another route as long as you follow the platform's rules, and keep your sign-in environment consistent. If only a browser extension or desktop app is affected, check whether it's actually using the client's proxy path.
Billing & refunds
Monthly plans reset data on your activation date; data packages don't expire and remain available until used. Check payment and refund records in your user dashboard.
How much is a monthly plan, and when does data reset?
Monthly plans cost ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on your activation date, not on the first or last day of the calendar month. Choose a plan based on your dashboard usage and what you do online: extended video streaming, large downloads, and simultaneous use across multiple devices all consume account data. Monthly plans and non-expiring data packages have different billing terms; a monthly plan isn't a long-term data balance. Before activating a plan, check its price, data allowance, and billing terms on the plans page. View your active plan and reset history in the dashboard.
How are data packages billed, and what happens if I upgrade mid-term?
Data packages cost ¥158 for 300GB, ¥358 for 1000GB, and ¥658 for 3000GB. They don't expire and remain available until used. Monthly plans reset data each month on the activation date; if you upgrade mid-term, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Compare monthly data allowances with packages you can use over time, rather than looking only at the payment amount. Don't assume the two billing types can be combined, converted, or share reset rules. Before upgrading, check your current plan and the change details in the dashboard, then confirm the plan you want. If the result differs from what you expected, keep the page details and check with support before making further changes.
Which payment methods are supported? What if my plan status doesn't update after payment?
Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT are supported. Available payment options are shown on the order page. After paying, check your order and plan status in the dashboard. If the status hasn't updated, confirm that the payment succeeded, that the payment record matches the current order, and that you're signed in to the account used to place it. Don't pay again just because the page hasn't refreshed, and don't post payment screenshots publicly. If you've paid but the order still hasn't updated, submit a ticket with the order details, payment method, and proof of payment with sensitive information hidden. Keep the original records; the order status and support reply will confirm the outcome.
How do I request a refund? What information should I include when reporting connection issues?
VPNDeep offers a 30-day no-questions-asked refund policy. To request a refund, sign in to your user dashboard, open a support ticket with your request, and include the relevant order details. See the Terms of Service for the full policy. If you'd also like help troubleshooting your connection, include your platform, the client's message, the route region, what you were doing before the issue, and what you've already tried. Don't send your password or full subscription link. Clearly distinguish a refund request from a technical support request; saying only that you can't connect doesn't tell us whether you want a refund. Follow up in the original ticket and check for replies there. Don't post order or account details publicly.
